Process
I. Study & Explore

This step is all about asking questions and defining goals. We get to know you and how you live and clarify your wants and needs. We measure, photograph and analyze the existing space & site, define the scope and discuss preliminary budgets & timelines.

II. Design Vision

Considering the information gathered, we draw floor plans & furniture layouts, build design concepts and craft mood boards. Then we present and discuss the preliminary designs so you can touch and feel samples of tile, stone, fabrics, hardware, and more.

III. Design Development

We collaborate with clients, architects and contractors to refine priorities and narrow the path to solutions. All final decisions are made and drawings are completed to create a detailed roadmap to your dream home.

IV. Relax & Enjoy

It's time to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Punch lists are checked off, rugs are rolled out, sofas are placed, pillows are plumped, and draperies hung. When you come home, it’s ready for living.

  • Luxury takes time. Complete home design projects (without construction) typically take 12 months. New construction or extensive renovation projects last from 1-3 years.

  • We specialize in crafting custom designs for entire homes. As a small firm, we must be selective with our projects in order to deliver the quality we are known for. We typically take on 6 projects annually with budgets for construction and furnishings ranging from $200,000 to $3 million.

  • The first step is to set up a discovery call to review the scope, get an idea of your budget and discuss our fee structure.

  • On average, design fees are 15-18% of overall construction costs.

  • We work closely with architects and contractors on most new builds and renovations. When we collaborate, our relative strengths produce superior designs and finished projects. We prefer to get involved at the earliest phases of a project.
